The Temptations

The Temptations bring the best of the classic Motown group to the historic Tennessee Theater in Knoxville, Tennessee on Saturday, August 22, 2016. Performing a set of songs such as “My Girl,” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone,” and “Just My Imagination” and more, the group is known for their rich, smooth, and tight harmonies and incredibly choreographed performances. With a loyal and strong fan base that spans decades and a number of different lineup changes over the years, the group’s music continues to be iconic and widely recognizable to audiences of all ages. The group has won a number of Grammy Awards and were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.

Tennessee Theater Information

The Tennessee Theatre is a historic theatre and one of the finest in the country. It is located at 604 South Gay Street in the heart of downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. The theatre has excellent acoustics so you will be able to clearly hear every aspect of the show and the seats are plush so you can be comfortable throughout the performance. There are approximately 1,600 seats in the theatre which are distributed on the orchestra level, the mezzanine level and the balcony.
